UNI-LYTE
DESCRIPTION & FORMULA
UNI-LYTE is a large volume solution (1000mL) containing electrolytes, dextrose, and sorbitol.
Each mL contains:
Dextrose 25.0mg
Sorbitol 25.0mg
Sodium Chloride 4.853mg
Potassium Chloride 0.747mg
Magnesium Chloride 0.407mg
Calcium Chloride 0.367mg
Sodium Lactate 7.842mg
Benzyl Alcohol 0.25%
Propylparaben 0.006%
Methylparaben 0.025%
Ethylparaben 0.002%
EACH LITRE PROVIDES
CATIONS
Sodium 153 mEq
Potassium 10 mEq
Magnesium 4 mEq
TOTAL 172 mEq
ANIONS
Chloride 102 mEq
Lactate 70 mEq
TOTAL 172 mEq
INDICATIONS
UNI-LYTE is used for the prevention and treatment of dehydration and electrolyte loss in horses, cattle, sheep, and swine, caused by diarrhea, fever, and haemorrhage.
DOSAGE
Administer intravenously or intraperitoneally using proper aseptic techniques.
Horses & Cattle: 1,000 to 2,000mL
Ponies, Foals and Calves: 500 to 1,000mL
Swine and Sheep: 500 to 1,000mL
Pigs: 100 to 500mL
Dosage may be repeated as indicated.
WARNING
Do not administer to horses by intraperitoneal injection.
CAUTION
Solution should be warmed at room temperature and administered slowly.
STORAGE
Store at room temperature. (15 - 30 celcius).

1000mL vial.
