The cereal grains fed to horses in work provide their major source of energy. For maximum release of this energy, supp[lementary intake of B group vitamins is essential as precursors of co-enzymes in the physiology of muscle contration.

Iron is an essential part of oxygen carrying haemoglobin in the blood. Myoglobin in the muscles and many enzymes involved in respiration.Iron Supplementation alone may not, however, be enough to look after blood haemoglobin, and Folic acid plays a critical role in maintaining haemoglobin concentration levels.

For horses in training

Stable horses with limited access to green feed and on a high grain diet with increased demands for oxygen carrying haemoglobin need to maintain optimal Iron - as Ferritin and serum folate levels to carry the optimum amount of oxygent from the lungs to the muscles. Ranvet IRON PLUS with Folic acid helps to maintain horses in peak condition for elite competition.

Which horses are prone to Vitamin and
Trace Mineral deficiencies?

DIRECTION FOR USE

Mix the prescribed amount through a dry feed. It is recommended that the prescribeb amount be spread over two feeds. Bring horses onto full intake gradually.
