AMINO SPEED

AMINO SPEED
concentrate of branched amino acids linked to vitamins C-E-BT and SELENIUM for race horses.

Branched amino acids are essential, therefore they have absolutely to be supplied by the animal diet. The peculiar feature which distinguishes them from other amino acids is the fact that they can pass hepatic filter without being modified. When specifically stimulated, the animal's liver rapidly abandons these branched amino acids and the muscle intercepts them almost totally. The metabolization of branched amino acids carried out the muscle causes a reduction of glucose oxidation and of lactic during intense muscle training is elevated, the consequence will be the production of Alanine and the reduction of lactic acid, and this allows the animal's best performance. Alanine can at its turn be used as an energetic source, alternative to glucose, thus representing an extra energy for the horse, deriveing from the by-products of its metabolism. In addition, branched amino acids are important in the phase of after race recovery.

Very often, especially during the most intense races, there is an increase of ammoniemia, which is toxic for the horse. In fact, the rise in ammonia after physical exercise can cause situations of hepatic fatigue, considering the lack of efficient mechanisms for its elimination. During after-training, branced amino acids stimulate a ready proteic synthesis, favouring muscle anabolism, contributing to muscles balance, thus allowing the animal to recover in the best way and to work with more continuity.

L-CARNITINE
favours the energetic employment of long-chain fat acids, thus interfering with the production of lactic acid. During anaerobic sports (characterised by strength and speed), L-CARNITINE allows the saving of glycogen and muscle proteins, a better recovery and a reduced formation of ammonia and lactic acid, thus granting better and prolonged athletic performances (fatigue symptoms are reduced). During aerobic sports (characterised by resistance), L-CARNITINE allows a better employment of fat, a better functionality of the animal's heart and skeletal muscle and a constant energy supply.

L-CARNITINE BENEFITS ARE LISTED AS FOLLOWS
A greater energy production; a reduced production of catabolites and toxins limiting athletic performances. Possibility for the horse to make a sprint at the end of the race, thanks to the little consumption of gylcogen during athletic performance. Better recovery after exercise, in order to lead following physical performances in the best way. thus allowing a constant improvement and fewer risks of traumatic events at muscle level.

GLYCINE
is a glucogenetic amino acid (sharing the synthesis of glucose); with its degradation, glycine supplies bicarbonate ions tamponing lactic acid produced during training.

VIT C - VIT E - SELENIUM
function as antioxidant inhibitors, reducing the damages to muscles which derive from free radicals produced by muscle metabolism.
